Pumpkin Spice Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder of choice (I used Amazing Grass Protein Superfood)
  • 1 handful of greens (I used a spinach, kale, chard mix)
  • 1/4 cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 small banana (I used frozen)
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (water works too)
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tsp MCT oil
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder
  • Ground cinnamon, nutmeg, & pumpkin pie spice to taste
  • 1 small handful of ice

Add all ingredients listed above into your blender. Blend until the smoothie is at your desired consistency. My tip, use a frozen banana for a creamier smoothie. Add additional liquid as needed. I topped my smoothie with raw pepita seeds and cacao nibs. Any raw chopped nut will work and will give your smoothie a nice added crunch! Enjoy!
