Green Protein Smoothie

From the Cutting Board:

  • 1 handful of greens (spinach, kale & Swiss chard, watercress, etc.)
  • 1/4 banana
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (grass fed whey or vegan)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Handful of ice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (add more accordingly)

To the Blender:

Toss all the ingredients into the blender and blend to your liking. Pour the smoothie into your cup.

***Sometimes I like to top my smoothies with cacao nibs or shredded coconut!
