Cheeseless Pesto

From the Cutting Board:

2 cups of fresh basil leaves

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup pine nuts

3 cloves of garlic

1/4 lemon, juiced 

salt and pepper to taste

To the Food Processor:

Toss the basil, pine nuts, and garlic in your food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add in the olive oil and lemon juice and continue to pulse to your desired consistency. Enjoy this pesto on your favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes!
